New Delhi. The nature of political leadership in the country is gradually changing. People now expect more work from leaders than promises. In this era of social media and awareness, people are demanding accountability from their representatives.

Where earlier image and influence were considered important in politics, now honesty and transparency are being given more importance. Young voters especially like those leaders who are connected to the ground and listen to the voice of the people.

A student of Delhi University said, “Now we need a leader who gives solutions and not just speeches.”
